Well, 15 years on and off, here's why:

I've been learning Korean on and off for... oh... 15 years. Am I fluent? No, of course not! And when I met Caty (on the right!), she had the same story, learning Korean to speak to her grandma 할머니.

She wanted to talk about playing oboe (which we both do, funny enough), running marathons, her friends, and like 50 other things that you can't learn quickly anywhere.

02Who is Tokki Talk for: beginner, intermediate, or advanced Korean learners?+

Tokki Talk currently works best for upper-beginner, intermediate, and advanced Korean learners who already know Hangul and some basic Korean sentence structure. A fuller curriculum for complete beginners is in development.

03Does Tokki Talk teach languages other than Korean?+

No. Tokki Talk is fully focused on Korean learning. That focus keeps its explanations, speech levels, particles, pronunciation, dictionary support, audio, and feedback specific to Korean.

04How does Tokki Talk personalize Korean learning?+

Tokki Talk shapes lessons, stories, conversations, suggested sentences, and review around your interests, level, saved material, and past practice. Korean you choose or struggle with can return later in another kind of practice.

05How does Tokki Talk improve Korean speaking and listening skills?+

Personalized audio lessons combine a cohesive narrative with listening, response pauses, pronunciation drills, and repeat-after-the-speaker practice. 06Does Tokki Talk work offline?+

Much of Tokki Talk is designed for offline study. Downloaded audio lessons work screen-off, and downloaded study material can be read and reviewed without a connection. Live chat, live voice features, content generation, and server-graded feedback require internet access.

07How does Tokki Talk use AI?+

Tokki Talk uses AI to help explain Korean, personalize lessons and stories, suggest useful words and sentences, support conversation and roleplay, and give structured feedback. It is an AI-assisted learning app, not a replacement for a Korean teacher or conversations with people. Tokki Talk does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

08When will Tokki Talk be available?+
